President, or immediate Past President is present.
5.3 All members of
the Board shall be notified of
impending Board meetings at least seven days
before each meeting.
5.3.1 This requirement may be waived for a
particular meeting if all Directors give
their consent.
5.3.2 The accidental omission to give any
notice to any Director or the non-receipt
of any notice by any Director or any error
in any notice not affecting its substance
shall not invalidate any action taken at
any meeting.
5.4 In addition to
the Directors, there shall be a Student
Member-at-Large who may participate in all
Board meetings but who has no vote.
Committees
6. The Board of Directors shall
determine what committees
are needed for the operation of
Kanata Theatre.
6.1 Any change to the list of
standing committees shall
be announced at a general meeting and published
in the newsletter.
6.2 At the start of each season, the
Board shall appoint
the chair for each standing committee.
6.3 The term of each chair shall run
until the end of the
current
season.
6.4 No person shall be chair of more
than one standing
committee at a time.
Theatre Season
7. The season of
activities shall normally run from one
Annual General Meeting to
the next.
7.1 There shall be an Annual
General Meeting in June,
