Objectives

1.    The name shall be “Kanata Theatre”

2.     Kanata Theatre shall exist
       (a) for its members to have entertainment, enjoyment
            and experience in all aspects of the theatre; and
        (b) to function as a community theatre organization.

Membership

3.     Membership in Kanata Theatre is open to everyone who
        meets the age or grade requirements of Paragraph 3.1 and
        who meets at least one of the following criteria:
        (a) Lives, works, or attends school within the municipal
              boundaries of the City of Kanata, the Township
              of West Carleton or the township of Goulbourn
              as those boundaries exist when this subparagraph
              becomes effective, namely September 8, 1996
        (b) Is the spouse of a member;
        (c) Was once a member.
        If there is any doubt whether the criteria for membership
        have been met in any particular case, the Board of
        Directors shall decide the question.

3.1   All members shall be fifteen years of age or older, or
        shall be in Grade 9 or above

3.2   The membership year shall run from one Annual
        General Meeting to the next.

3.3   A person whose membership fee is in arrears for more
        than 12 months shall no longer be a member of
        Kanata Theatre.
