Helen and Martin Weeden, who were
responsible for the smash hit Aladdin last Christmas, will
once again be directing this year’s sparkling holiday extravaganza !
Suitable for the whole family, Through the Looking Glass is a hip-hopping, madcap musical based on the original Lewis Carroll
classic, adapted by James DeVita with catchy music and lyrics by Bill
Francoeur.
The story follows Alice through many adventures as she travels across a
chessboard and attempts to become Queen. With a young and vibrant cast
of talented singers and dancers, Kanata Theatre audiences have many
surprises in store that will delight all ages! This 1-act, 70 minute
show will have tots, teens and even grandparents rocking in their seats
as they see familiar characters come to life in a blaze of colour and
song!
Tickets are on sale at the Box Office, now and during the run of Ethan Claymore. Box Office hours are 5:00 - 8:00 pm on
performance days, 5:00 to 7:00pm on other weekdays, and 10am-noon on
Saturdays. In addition, the Box Office will be open on December 11th
and 18th between 10:00 am and noon.
Tickets can be also be purchased at the door during the three-day run of Through the Looking Glass between the hours of noon and
4:00 pm.. Tickets are for general admission, so no telephone
reservations will be taken. At $5 each, tickets are indeed a bargain!
What a wonderful way to relax with the family after the hustle and
bustle of the Christmas season. Demand for tickets at this time will be
great. To avoid disappointment, be sure to buy your tickets now! Show
times are 1:00 pm and 3:30 pm on December 27, 28, and 29th.
