PETER WILLIAMS (Assistant Director) first stepped onto the Kanata Theatre stage as a boy in the 1971 production of Our Town. Throughout the years his face keeps popping up now and then on the stage, the most recent being Igbutton the Goon in the rollicking adventure The Dragonslayers. More usually, he will be found behind the scenes, building sets, stage managing, or sometimes stealing cookies. This is his first foray into the field of direction.

PETER WILLIAMS (Director) first stepped onto the Kanata Theatre stage as a boy in the 1971 production of Our Town. Throughout the years his face keeps popping up now and then on the stage, the most recent being Igbutton the Goon in the rollicking adventure The Dragonslayers. More usually, he will be found behind the scenes, building sets, stage managing, or sometimes stealing cookies. He was the assistant director for Kanata Theatre’s production of The Heiress, and stage manager for the production of the manic farce Noises Off. This is his directorial debut.

PETER WILLIAMS(Director) first stepped onto the Kanata Theatre stage as a boy in the 1971 production of Our Town. Throughout the years since his first appearance, his face keeps popping up now and then, here and there, to this show and that show, much like the mischievous pooka Harvey. Most recently he played the bumbling
Officer Banning in the 2009 Christmas production of The Boxcar Children. This is Peter’s second foray into directing, the first being the howlingly successful slapstick Leading Ladies. He is also currently Kanata Theatre’s Director of Plays and is looking
forward to presenting next season’s slate of productions.
