JIM HOLMES (Brady) last appeared on stage in 2009 as Nunzio in Over the River and Through the Woods, for which he was named Best Actor in a Supporting Role at both the EODL and Theatre Ontario Festivals. Other roles include Higgins in Pygmalion, Tobias in A Delicate Balance, and Father Jack in Dancing at Lughnasa. He has directed 25 productions for Kanata Theatre including A Flea in Her Ear (CCC Nomination: Best Director, Community Theatre), and the award-winning productions of The Underpants and The Seagull.

Jim is thrilled to be working for a third time with Larraine Gorman on a musical production. The others were Jacques Brel Is Alive & Well & Living in Paris and last year's Rock and Roll. He has directed 20 productions for Kanata Theatre including Shakespeare's Twelfth Night, As You Like It, and A Midsummer Night's Dream. Others include The Madwoman of Chaillot, A Doll's House, Crimes of the Heart, Noises Off, and Charley's Aunt. For the Studio Opera Guild he directed Mozart's opera The Impressario. His acting roles for Kanata Theatre include Higgins in Pygmalion, Jaques in As You Like It, Elwood in Harvey and Numzio in last year's production of Over the River and Through the Woods for which he was named Best Supporting Actor at both the Easter Ontario Drama League and the Theatre Ontario festivals. He trained at the Banff School of Fine Arts.
