JAMES A. FRITZ (Set Designer) is a Production Stage Manager working in the Ottawa theatre community, who very much enjoys the opportunity to venture into set design. The Underpants will be his third for Kanata Theatre. He has also designed for Ottawa Chamber Theatre and Still Standing Theatre. He has worked with several of Ottawas professional companies, most recently as Stage Manager for The Gladstones productions of Shirley Valentine, The Final Twist, and The Farndale Christmas Carol, as Stage and Production Manager with Third Wall Theatre, and as Stage Manager with New Theatre of Ottawa, for which he was a 2008 Rideau Award nominee. He has been Production Manager with The Ottawa School of Speech & Drama for three seasons, and has worked as Scenic Carpenter for the Algonquin College Theatre Arts program.
